week 7 portraits

I missed that weeks class, but after looking through Lynn's blog and also noticing Dave posting few tips on portrait photography I figured that was the challenge.
As I never get time to take photos of my stepson I finally managed to convince him to pose for few shots :)
As always used my Nikon D3000, with a standard lens 18-55mm.
I'm going to admit it as my laptop is playing up I've adjusted these images in windows photo gallery, I know I know what a sin.
I've adjusted white balance, contrast, saturation, and tint.

ISO 100, Manual mode, F5.6  S1/6

ISO 100, Manual mode, F5.6  S1/2.5 WB auto

ISO 100, Manual mode, F5.6  S1/6 WB flash

  1. Nice portraits, it seems you have a little rascal to pose for you. I really like the cropping and angle in the top two portraits, well done.
