As I've made my decission in regards to what theme to choose for my final images I tought its time to start my research. Couple of intersting facts about shoes :)
Its been said that: "In the Middle East, parts of Africa, Korea and Thailand, it is considered rude to show the soles of the feet to others (even accidentally, such as by crossing the legs). Shoe throwing is a great insult in some areas in the Middle East and in India In addition, in Thailand, it is an extreme insult for the foot, socks, or shoes to touch someone's head or be placed over it."

week 2 Landscapes
Last weeks challenge was to shoot in Aperture Priority mode to achieve different examples of depth of field. Although landscapes are not my "thing" I must say I've enjoyed it.
I've also tried to set my camera in Shutter Priority mode and experiment with various shutter speeds.
Camera used NIKON D3000, standard lens 18-55mm, ISO set at 200
Below set on Shutter Speed Priority
F6.3 S 1/80

F36 S 1/2.5
Below set up on Aperture Priority
F5.6 S 1/200
F36 S 1/6
More examples of images taken in Aperture Priority

F10 S 1/100
F25 S 1/15

shoes
I found this image in google, then traced it back to this blog http://www.stormfront.org/ and post called:" i want these shoes dammit".
I was strangely drawn towards this photo, couldn't stop looking at it.
A hundred thoughts was going through my mind.... how creative people get when it comes to a little bit, of what you would called "comfort / luxury"
